Celebration of the 120th anniversary of the beach of Lignano

Yesterday, in the square of Terrazza a Mare, the inauguration ceremony of the 2023 tourist season took place with the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the strand of Lignano
The participants in the theater group "The Courageous Parents", wearing period clothes, revived what happened on April 15, 1903, a symbolic date attributable to the foundation of Lignano following an excursion from Marano.
The ceremony ended with the delivery of some awards to people who were protagonists in the economic growth of Lignano and to those who, through their professional, artistic and sporting skills, have brought prestige to the locality; awarded Angelo Scarpa, Giovanni De Minicis, Cesare Canova, Renato Chiaruttini, Giorgio Scerbanenco (daughter Cecilia awarded), Giulio Avon, Claudio Sclosa and Adriano Del Sal.
An acknowledgment in memory went to Vittorio Salvetti, historic patron of the Festivalbar who brought the festival to Lignano in 1992.
