18 million euros the economic impact of Biker Fest International

The president P. M. Zanin, visiting Terre di Moto S.r.l. di Majano, was finally able to see live the headquarters from where, for 37 years, a 100% native entrepreneurial reality has been carrying out the great work to create an event of international scope, such as the Biker Fest International, which for 12 years has brought tourists from all over the world in Lignano Sabbiadoro.

Results achieved also thanks to the media support provided by Editrice Custom which, since 1991, has been publishing in Friuli V.G. the only 4 specialized magazines with national diffusion. Leading magazines in the automotive sector that bring prestige to our Region and create a winning mix for the promotion of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Italy and around the world.

“It is a source of pride for me to visit the companies of the Persello family, especially after having been able to take note of the results of the questionnaire carried out in collaboration with PromoTurismo F-VG concerning the economic impact generated by the Biker Fest International, which this year arrives at the 37th edition. The fallout figures from the event are truly staggering. 18 million euros the turnover from which 1.5 million of tax repercussions on our territory in just 4 days.

This entrepreneurial excellence is a powerful, effective and fundamental vehicle for the promotion of tourism and culture in our Region and this is also testified by a recent study which saw the Biker Fest as the regional event capable of determining higher bookings in the structures accommodation both in the sea and in the mountain segment. Through the four magazines (since 1991) it gives visibility at a national level and through events (since 1987), as well as turning the spotlight on our territory for an international audience, it encourages tourism both in the months that start the season and in the end-of-season months, thus allowing for seasonal adjustment. This is also thanks to the Italian Bike Week in September, a new major event strongly desired by the Region and the host Municipality. My personal wish is that the synergy that has been created in recent years between the organizers and the regional body, through PromoTurismo F-VG, the Tourism Department and the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro will be increasingly consolidated and appreciated”.
