7° Youth Athletics Meeting

On Sunday, July 5, 2026, the Teghil Stadium is getting ready to host a day dedicated to great running, jumping, and throwing events with the 7th Youth Athletics Meeting "Città di Lignano Sabbiadoro", an official stage and the 5th Round of the XXV "Luigi Modena" Trophy 2026. This summer sporting event offers an exclusive showcase for local talent and young athletes from the region, who will have the opportunity to compete on the track and in the field in front of their home crowd.

THE TROFEO FRIULI AND MASTER CATEGORIES

In addition to the youth challenges, the event will shine a spotlight on the world of amateur running: a stage of the famous Trofeo Friuli is integrated into the day's program. The race will see the participation of around 250 local runners from the Amateur and Master categories.

Specifically, Master athletes (over 35) and those in the Absolute Categories (18-35 years old) will compete in sprint, endurance, women's high jump, and pole vault (men's and women's) events. For the 300m and 1000m races, Masters can independently choose during registration whether to compete alongside the Absolutes or to opt for the FIDAL Master points ranking.

AWARDING OF PROVINCIAL TITLES AND YOUTH RACES

The beating heart of the meeting will be dedicated to the youngest categories, featuring the awarding of the prestigious titles of Provincial Champion of Udine:

• Ragazzi (12-13 years old) and Cadetti (14-15 years old) Category: They will compete to win the provincial title in the 60-meter sprint, girls' long jump, boys' shot put, boys' and girls' pole vault, Vortex RM, and shot put 2kg RF. Special prizes will also be awarded for the best male and female technical performances of the day.
• Allievi (16-18 years old) Category: Space for event customization; athletes in this age group can select up to three disciplines of their choice among pole vault, endurance running (1000m), or sprint trials (300m).
