Summer Sand Basket
Event Sport in Lignano Sabbiadoro at Lungomare Trieste, 5:
On Sunday 14 July, the Beach Arena in Sabbiadoro (office 5) will host one of the stages of the national sand basketball championship.
This event marks the official start of the national Sand Basket circuit, a variant of basketball played on the sand that attracts thousands of fans in the renowned seaside resorts of Italy. The participating teams will be organized into three categories: Mini, Under and Senior. The management of the event will be entrusted to the two regional representatives of the Sand Basket: Giancarlo Visciano and Michele Antonutti.
Registrations are open to anyone who wishes to participate.
