Paddle trail

Paddle Trail Lignano is a nautical adventure presented by The Wild SUP asd, a unique and engaging experience open to all paddle water sports enthusiasts who love long distances and endurance challenges.

"Paddle Trail" is not a traditional competition, but a celebration of the sporting spirit, where every participant who completes the route is a winner. There are no categories or rankings, just the personal satisfaction of having achieved the goal.

THE ROUTES (Trail 1 – 16km, Trail 2 – 32km):

The event will start on the beach in front of P.za Marcello D'Olivo. Once at sea, following the coast with caution and avoiding swimmers, we will head towards the Tagliamento river and go up it.

Those who do Trail 1 will continue for approximately 8km until the first bridge they come across, while those who do Trail 2 will continue for 16km arriving at the center of Pertegada (you will find a sign).

After reaching the turning point, participants will return to the starting point.

In strong wind conditions, the event will start from the mouth of the Tagliamento river.

Upon arrival, the organization will verify the completed route and record the time taken by each participant.

DEPARTURES:

The starting sequence will follow the order of registration, giving priority to those tackling Path B.

Departures are scheduled between 9:00 and 12:00, with one minute intervals between participants, who must show up at least 30 minutes before to receive the necessary instructions.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
For everyone's safety, it is required

• A leash (for SUPs) or a flotation device
• A cell phone
• A GPS watch or equivalent app
• Water, mineral salts and/or energy snacks
• A hat and a shirt to protect yourself from the sun

During the event, participants will have to share their location on WhatsApp with the organization on the numbers +39 3467625264 or +39 3495411564. In case of withdrawal, it is necessary to communicate it promptly.

There will be no assistance along the way, but areas will be available to get out of the water and independently organize recovery if necessary.

RACE PACKAGE:

The package includes an event t-shirt, a meal voucher, gadgets from the technical sponsors and a small commemorative souvenir.

Please note: Each participant is asked to provide assistance to others in case of need.

The registration cost is €40 until 04/30/2024, then will increase to €50 from 05/1/2024. For companions who wish to have lunch, the cost is €15.
