35th International Meeting "Sport and solidarity"

On 14 July 2024, more than 200 professional athletes from 30 countries around the world will meet on the pitch of the "G Teghil" Stadium in Lignano Sabbiadoro. for the 35th international meeting "Sport and solidarity" and tenth Missoni trophy.

Among the participating athletes, we have the honor of attending the performances of world champions who have obtained one or more medals.

This year we will have the opportunity to see the Olympic champions who will participate in the World Championships in Eugene in Oregon (USA) and the European Championships in Munich in August on the slopes of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

The meeting organized by "Nuova Atletica dal Friuli" will also see the Jamaican speed champions and arrows who will participate in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, such as Elaine Thompson and Shelly-Ann Fraser, the 3-times Olympic world champion of the 100 meters (first Jamaican athlete to win a gold medal in this discipline). In addition to the champions, as has been the case since the first edition, a space will also be reserved for athletes with disabilities.
Space will also be given to young promises made in FVG and to athletes with disabilities.

Participation in the 35th International Athletics Meeting is completely free, it will be possible to make a donation at the entrance, the proceeds will be donated to support organizations engaged in the area in favor of people with disabilities.
