Grand Prix Triathlon

Two days dedicated to Triathlon in Lignano Sabbiadoro! on 11 and 12 October 2024 you will be able to admire this wonderful discipline! This year the event called "Lignano International Triathlon" is divided into: Lignano Olympic & Sprint! an intense weekend of competitions, which will see the best swimming, running and cycling athletes competing for this great event. As always, a perfect location: fast multi-lap routes, large spaces, and outside the banlea season!
You will be able to watch the various tests of the athletes and therefore the phases of the race, remaining in Piazza Marcello d'Olivo, or from the beach in complete safety.

Olympic Triathlon Phases:

• SWIM 1500m single lap
  Departure swimming fraction next to the La Pagoda pier. Single round clockwise with four turning buoys, the first three to be kept on the right, the fourth to be kept on the left.
• BIKE 38km 4 laps
  Multilap route entirely flat and very smooth, on four laps with spectacular passages next to the Transition Area. See the route on STRAVA
• RUN 10km 4 laps
  Completely flat RUN route with four laps on the Lungomare Alberto Kechler with a thrilling turning point near the finish line and the transition area. See route on STRAVA

Sprint Triathlon Phases:

• SWIM 750m single lap
  Departure swimming fraction next to the La Pagoda pier. Single lap clockwise with two turning buoys to keep on the right.
• BIKE 19km 2 laps
  Multilap route entirely flat and very smooth, on two laps with spectacular passages next to the Transition Area. See the route on STRAVA
• RUN 5km 2 laps
