Swimming Meeting “Città di Lignano” 2025 - The XVII edition kicks off together with the VI Bella Italia Spring Challenge Trophy

One of the most anticipated events in the Italian swimming scene is back: from 25 to 27 April 2025, the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro will host the XVII edition of the “Città di Lignano” Swimming Meeting, in conjunction with the sixth edition of the “Bella Italia Spring Challenge Trophy”.

The two prestigious competitions will take place at the modern Olympic swimming pool of the Bella Italia Tourist Village, a reference facility for national and international sporting events.

The event is reserved for athletes registered with F.I.N. (Italian Swimming Federation) or belonging to federations recognized by L.E.N. (Ligue Européenne de Natation) and F.I.N.A. (Fédération Internationale de Natation). Both sports clubs and local or national teams can participate, with the rule that each athlete can compete and accumulate points only for one team.

The Meeting represents a unique opportunity to see young talents and established swimmers at work in a high-profile sports context, in an ideal location like Lignano Sabbiadoro, synonymous with sport, hospitality and organizational quality for years.

The tanks dedicated to the race will be:

• Competition field 50x21mt.
• Heating field 25x12

Categories of athletes admitted:

• Beginners B
• Beginners a
• Boys
• Juniors
• Cadets
• Seniors

Awards to the coaches of the first 3 classified Teams:

• Coach of the first classified team: €600.00
• Coach of the second classified team: €300.00
• Coach of the third-placed team: €200.00
