AiCS Footbike Eurocup National Championship

From October 17 to 19, 2025, Lignano Sabbiadoro will host three full days entirely dedicated to the discipline of footbike, featuring the AiCS National Footbike Championship – Eurocup and the 3rd stage of the Eurocup.

The event will not only be an officially recognized sporting competition, but also a celebration of community and inclusion, welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels. Among the scheduled activities, there will also be a special inclusive race open to athletes with disabilities, who will compete alongside non-disabled teammates, crossing the finish line together in a true spirit of inclusion.

The organization is overseen by AiCS National, with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional Committee, the Udine Provincial Committee, and the associations FB4ALL ETS and Footbike & Sport ASD.

Friday, October 17 – Sprint (Teghil Stadium)

• 08:00 – 10:00 | Athlete accreditation and registration check
• 10:00 – 11:00 | Technical briefing (mandatory for all athletes)
• 11:00 – 13:00 | Free practice on sprint course
• 13:00 – 14:00 | Lunch break
• 14:00 – 16:30 | Individual time trial qualifications
• 16:30 – 17:30 | Sprint finals (knockout heats)
• 18:00 | Sprint awards ceremony
• 20:00 | Welcome dinner and international team presentation

Saturday, October 18 – Criterium (Piazza Marcello d’Olivo, 1.5 km circuit)

• Number of laps varies by category (from 2 laps for Pupils to 10 laps for Senior Men).

• 08:00 – 09:30 | Meeting point and warm-up on course
• 09:30 – 11:00 | Race for PUPIL – CADET categories
• 11:30 – 13:00 | Race for JUNIOR – SENIOR – MASTER – VETERAN – ULTRAVETERAN
• 13:00 – 14:00 | Lunch break and promotional activities
• 14:00 – 15:30 | Inclusive race – same course, 1 lap like Pupils category. Each athlete with a disability will be paired with a non-disabled athlete. The pair must finish together, rankings will be based on the times of the disabled athletes.

• 17:00 – 19:00 | Side events and activities for the public (shows, footbike test rides, entertainment)
• 21:00 | International evening: live music

Sunday, October 19 – Long Race (Piazza Marcello d’Olivo, 4 km circuit)

• Number of laps varies by category (from 1 lap for Pupils to 11 laps for Senior Men).

• Fees range from free (Prep) up to €70 (multiple races).
• Awards for the top 3 finishers in each category.
