Exhibition: "in riva al mare" by Elisabetta Mitrovic

“By the Seashore” is the exhibition hosted by the Municipal Library of Lignano Sabbiadoro, dedicated to the works of Elisabetta Mitrovic. The display includes illustrations, original drawings, sketchbooks, and materials inspired by the book of the same name, published by Topipittori. The project offers visitors a journey that combines art and naturalistic observation to highlight the beauty and biodiversity of coastal landscapes.

 

Opening Program

Tuesday, August 12

• 5:30 pm – Official opening with the presence of the author (free admission).

• 6:00 pm – Family workshop on nature observation and drawing for children aged 5 and up, led by Elisabetta Mitrovic (reservation required).

• 7:30 pm – Meeting with the author and book signing with illustrated dedications.

 

Side Events

• August – Guided tours for children attending the Summer Center (organized by the Municipal Library).

• September and October – Educational visits for schools, in collaboration with the Cultural Association 0432.

• Nature excursions on the beach organized by Foce del Tagliamento ODV.

 

Workshop for Adults

Saturday, September 20 – 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
Drawing in Nature: a full-day workshop with Elisabetta Mitrovic to explore drawing as a tool for observation, storytelling, and connecting with the environment.

  From September 8 onward, closing time will be at 7:00 pm.
