Summer solstice dawn concert 2026

The sunrise concert for the summer solstice in Lignano Sabbiadoro will take place on June 21, 2026, at Punta Faro Beach, starting at 5:00 AM. This will be the 9th edition of this historic classical music event on the sand. This year, the concert will be directed by Maestro Domenico Mason, accompanied by the historic “Arrigoni” String Academy, featuring violins and cellos to celebrate the dawn of the longest day of the year.

The traditional sunrise concert in Lignano Sabbiadoro brings together musicians from nearby regions and features internationally renowned artists. The 2026 edition will welcome a special guest, to be announced soon. Last year, the spotlight was on Edna Unseld, winner of the international competition “Piccolo Violino Magico 2022”, with an outstanding violin performance.
