Donatella Rettore concert

Donatella Rettore will perform in concert in Lignano Sabbiadoro on 8 August 2024 at the Beach Arena, 9.30 pm.

Donatella Rettore, also known simply as Rettore, was born in Castelfranco Veneto on 8 July 1955 and is an Italian singer, lyricist and actress. Active since the seventies, she is known for her irreverent and ironic style. Her rise in the world of Italian music occurred in the summer of 1979 with the success of "Splendido Shining", which brought her to the limelight. In 1980 she achieved another great success with "Kobra", taken from the album "Magnifico delirio". In 1981 she won the Festivalbar with the hit "Donatella", which became a cult song in discos. Thanks to the album "Estasi clamorosa", she obtained a gold record and performed "Remember", written for her by Elton John. Despite ups and downs, Donatella Rettore confirms herself as one of the most innovative artists in Italian music. In 2022, almost thirty years after her last participation in Sanremo, she returns to the Ariston stage with the song "Chimica", performed in collaboration with Ditonellapiaga.
