Christmas Concert

The Christmas concert in Lignano Sabbiadoro will take place at the Duomo San Giovanni Bosco on December 18, 2024 at 9:00 pm. The evening will feature the prestigious Coro Polifonico di Ruda, a true excellence of our region. Founded in 1933, the choir has spanned almost a century of history, bringing its art all over the world and winning, under the guidance of Fabiana Noro in the last 22 years, more than 40 international awards. Over the years, the Polifonico has distinguished itself for the interpretation of repertoires ranging from Gregorian to contemporary, with prestigious collaborations and awards that have consecrated it as one of the best Italian male choirs.

Fabiana Noro, a highly talented pianist and choral director, awarded in numerous international competitions also as best director, will be conducting. Fabiana has been able to enrich the choir's repertoire with romantic and modern pieces, as well as unique productions such as soundtracks and symphonic-choral works.

Accompanying the choir on this occasion will be Antonio Merici (cello), Gabriele Rampogna (percussion) and Ferdinando Mussutto (piano). The program includes music by Schubert, Rheinberger, Lauridsen, Sollima and other great composers, in a musical journey that will touch everyone's heart.

At the end of the concert there will be a convivial moment to exchange the warmest Christmas wishes, thanks to the toast organized by the Gruppo Alpini di Lignano.
