For eight special evenings, Lignano hosts “Un mare di Sapori”, a series of exclusive beachfront dinners celebrating the authentic tastes of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This culinary journey blends local excellence, creative cuisine, sustainability, and a deep connection with the region. Each dinner offers a chance to discover signature dishes, regional products, and the stories behind the people who make them special.

Enjoy eight unforgettable nights of Friulian cuisine just steps from the sea, where flavour, tradition, and sustainability come together. Each event will showcase traditional and innovative dishes, prepared with carefully selected local ingredients. Chefs and producers will highlight regional excellence under the “Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia” label, turning each course into a true expression of the territory.

Friday, July 25 – Gourmet Dinner by the Sea at Pineta Beach Lignano Restaurant

Starting at 7:30 PM, enjoy an exceptional dinner overlooking the sea featuring the finest flavours of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The evening begins with a tasting of regional specialties, with producers on hand to share the stories behind each product.

The menu features refined regional dishes: from traditional starters to the classic boreto, a delicate Ribolla Gialla risotto, and the iconic Gubana dessert from the Natisone Valleys.

Paired with wines from Ermacora Winery and products from Latteria d’Aviano and Morgante.

Evening Menu

• Tasting selection of Io Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia products, including Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP and artisan cheeses

• Starter: Carpaccio of Pezzata Rossa Friulana with ricotta cream scented with sea buckthorn

• First Course: Ribolla Gialla risotto with Montasio DOP and smoked Sauris guanciale

• Main Course: Traditional Boreto alla gradese with white polenta

• Dessert: Gubana with coffee

From 6:30 PM, enjoy a laid-back tasting experience on the beach where the authentic flavours of Friuli Venezia Giulia meet the spirit of the Italian aperitivo. The event includes creative pairings, producer storytelling, and live music for a truly immersive atmosphere.

At 8:30 PM, Aurora Bistrot welcomes you to a refined seaside dinner celebrating the diverse culinary landscape of Friuli Venezia Giulia — from the sea to the hills and mountains.

Set against the golden twilight on the beach, this gourmet experience features reinterpretations of regional classics paired with a curated selection of local wines and liqueurs (available separately).
