Moda d’Autore in Lignano 2025: creativity, talent, and the future of fashion

Lignano Sabbiadoro is once again the stage for Moda d’Autore, the fashion event dedicated to showcasing and promoting emerging designers and sartorial talent. Organized by modashow.it with the support of the Municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro, the event has become a key platform for discovering new voices in fashion.

The competition is open to both independent fashion professionals and those working within companies or tailoring studios. In addition, a special category called “Moda d’Autore… futuro” is dedicated to students from public and private fashion schools or institutes. Eligible participants must be between 18 and 45 years old.

The event will take place at the elegant Kursaal Congress Center, which will host the runway shows and judging sessions.

• On Thursday, July 17, a panel of industry experts and established designers will evaluate the garments created by the finalists, who will have previously passed a preliminary selection round.

• On Friday, July 18, the event will culminate in a fashion show and awards ceremony, where the winners of Moda d’Autore will be announced.

To reach the final stage, participants must first pass a pre-selection process. A dedicated committee will review sketches and photographs of the (female) garments submitted, assessing both creative vision and technical execution.
