From April 25th to May 4th 2025, there will be the 39th edition of Lignano in Fiore! The Hemingway Park in Lignano Sabbiadoro will be transformed into an enchanting open-air theater to host one of the most anticipated spring events in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
A festival that, for almost four decades, has combined shows, workshops, art and tradition in a magical atmosphere, suitable for families, tourists and culture enthusiasts. Children and adults will be able to immerse themselves in exciting experiences, including stories, animations and performances that celebrate the beauty of sharing.
An Event Born from the Community! Lignano in Fiore is made possible thanks to the commitment of hundreds of volunteers and the passion of thousands of visitors who make this event unique every year. Our goal? To create moments of amazement, aggregation and discovery, transforming the park into a place where art meets nature.

HISTORY:
The party started way back in 1987, and it is customary to start between the end of April and end in early May. The location of this magnificent celebration of solidarity is the Hemingway park in Lignano Pineta, which, on this occasion, comes to life and comes alive with colors, food and wine stalls and flowers. A great popular festival created for the solidarity of children that every year the party is reached by all the classic visitors, but also by tourists who flock from neighboring countries: such as Austria, Slovenia and Germany. The real protagonists of this party are the children, who will be busy chasing flights of balloons and kites, but also many other supportive and creative activities. The children will also be busy with small workshops, theatrical performances, dances, music and new initiatives that are introduced every year.

 

THE SUPPORT:
Lignano in Fiore ONLUS has always supported projects in Italy and in the world, in particular aimed at the needs of children in a state of discomfort or difficulty. Thanks to the proceeds of the Festival, and to the contributions of many "Friends", we have contributed to the support of families with minors in difficulty, and we have contributed to the support of associations that bring basic necessities to areas affected by wars or disasters. We have always supported the A.G.M.E.N. - FVG which carries out the fundamental work of assistance to the families of children affected by childhood neoplasms. The areas of intervention concern assistance and support for families, the purchase of equipment and the improvement of equipment, the updating and training of medical and nursing staff, the financing of scholarships for young researchers, the promotion and support of exchange of knowledge on childhood cancer treatment protocols, psychological and pedagogical assistance, the S.O.S. NO PAIN to allow for residual pain control and management of anxiety / fear / etc, free reception in guesthouses for the period of therapies and checks, non-health home service through a network of appropriately trained volunteers. Also this year the commitment of Lignano in Fiore will be in favor of the A.G.M.E.N. - FVG, as part of an intervention deemed to be a priority, and in favor of further initiatives with the same purpose.

 

THE COMMUNITY':
ignano in Fiore also aims to develop community and social thinking aimed at the needs of children, a "child movement" that recurs in initiatives carried out even outside of support projects. We promote workshops, debates and meetings to raise awareness among the adult world on the problems and difficulties of children, who grow up in a frenetic and competitive society, not always respectful of their times and their needs. In the summer, the "A wire water" event brings our message to the many tourists, while at Christmas the art workshops at school, the appointments with Biscuits, the Bingo and the Children's New Year create the warmth of the "Family ".
