Lignano Express train

Discover this year's news! The traditional Lignano Express Train, which during the summer season accompanies children, tourists and visitors along the streets of our town, will also be active for this extraordinary holiday period, from 7 December 2024 to 6 January 2025! The service for Christmas in Lignano is completely free.

This year, the Train is enriched with a new connection, linking the Sabbiadoro celebration area with the new area of ​​Piazza del Sole in Pineta. The service includes two stops: in Sabbiadoro, the starting point is on Lungomare Trieste, at the beach office 6, right in front of the suggestive Sand Nativity Scene. In Pineta, however, the stop is located in Piazza del Sole. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas in Lignano aboard our Train!
