Enchantment and Wonder - Michelangelo Rossato

Inauguration of the exhibition “Incanto e Meraviglia. Viaggio nelle disegni di Michelangelo Rossato”, with a speech by the artist and, to follow, a guided tour and a workshop for children aged 5 to 10.

The exhibition, visible from 4 December to 30 January 2025, presents a selection of the works of Rossato, who was able to illustrate fairy-tale themes and historical biographies, drawing on the symbolic heritage and masterpieces of art history, creating splendid and fascinating images.

Michelangelo Rossato, award-winning for his illustrated books, was selected in 2021 among the 20 artists chosen by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair for the initiative “Eccellenze Italiane: la nuova generazione degli illustratori italiani per ragazzi”. She teaches illustration for publishing at Ars in Fabula – Illustration School and has conducted her creative workshops in numerous schools in Italy and abroad (Albania, Mexico, Turkey), collaborating with the Italian Cultural Institutes and the Italian Embassy.

The exhibition will be open to the public during the Library's opening hours:

Monday to Friday: 2:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Thursday: also 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Saturdays in December: 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
