73rd National Gathering of the "Bersaglieri"

From May 27 to 31, 2026, Lignano Sabbiadoro will host the 73rd National Gathering of the Bersaglieri, an unmissable event celebrating the history and traditions of one of Italy’s most renowned military corps. This edition will be especially significant, as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Friuli earthquake, honoring the crucial role the Bersaglieri played in assisting the affected communities.

The 2026 gathering will take place mainly in Lignano Sabbiadoro, but will also involve other towns in Friuli Venezia Giulia, offering a wide range of activities, from cultural and religious events to spectacular musical performances by the Bersaglieri.

This edition will also be highly inclusive, aiming to engage all citizens of the region, as highlighted by the president of the National Bersaglieri Association (ANB) Friuli Venezia Giulia. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in historical commemorations and live performances that pay tribute to the Bersaglieri’s contribution to Italian history.
