60th Anniversary of the Alpini Group of Lignano

On the weekend of September 6–7, 2025, Lignano Sabbiadoro celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Alpini Group of Lignano

The city of Lignano Sabbiadoro will pay tribute to the Alpini Group of Lignano on the occasion of its 60th anniversary. Two days filled with emotion, music, and remembrance, celebrating the values that have defined this historic association for decades.

Celebration Program

Saturday, September 6
At 9:00 PM, the Cathedral of Lignano (Piazzale San Giovanni Bosco) will host a captivating concert by the A.N.A. Section Choir of Codroipo, opening the anniversary celebrations with traditional melodies and heartfelt atmosphere.

Sunday, September 7 - Main Celebration Day

• 9:30 AM: Gathering of participants at the Alpini Group headquarters, Via Palestro 51

• 10:00 AM: Welcome speeches by local authorities and representatives from various Alpini sections, followed by a floral tribute in remembrance of the fallen

• 10:30 AM: Start of the official parade to the Town Hall (Piazzale Divisione Julia), with the flag-raising ceremony, institutional addresses, and celebration of Holy Mass

• Afterwards: Tribute to the Fallen at the memorial monument, followed by the traditional parade through the town center, accompanied by the A.N.A. Section Band of Udine
