Lignano Sabbiadoro: The LAV Initiative "The Sea is Their Home" 2026 Arrives!

The splendid setting of Lignano Sabbiadoro is preparing to host a double summer appointment entirely dedicated to ecology and the protection of the marine ecosystem. On Friday, June 26th and Saturday, July 11th, 2026, the Beach Village (Beach Office 6) will provide the backdrop for "The Sea is Their Home", the important awareness campaign by LAV created to promote the protection, respect, and knowledge of aquatic animals and their delicate habitats.

The event stands as a unique opportunity for families, residents, and tourists who wish to rediscover the beauty of marine fauna through an ethical and sustainable perspective: learning to look at nature through the eyes of those who inhabit it, understanding that the true spectacle of the sea lies precisely in the freedom of its inhabitants.

Children as Protagonists: Civic Education and Respect on the Beach

The 2026 edition focuses wholeheartedly on involving the new generations. The two days will offer educational activities, workshops, and informative materials designed for the whole family, but the true heart of the initiative will be the youngest participants. Children and teenagers will have the opportunity to become "little volunteers for a day", stepping onto the front lines to spread a crucial message: the sea is a resource to be protected, not a playground to be exploited.

LAV's goal is to transform the coastline of Lignano into a proper open-air environmental civic education laboratory, promoting the principle of "look but don't touch".
