Frecce Tricolori - Lignano Air Show 2026

The Frecce Tricolori - Lignano Air Show 2026 will take place on July 12, 2026, in Lignano Sabbiadoro, starting at 3:30 PM. The famous “Lignano Air Show” will offer the public the traditional and spectacular performance of the Frecce Tricolori, Italy’s prestigious national aerobatic team, which has thrilled tens of thousands of spectators for generations.

During the show, visitors will also be able to admire Italian Air Force helicopters, parachutists, and other aerobatic aircraft. The Frecce Tricolori are based in Lignano Sabbiadoro, which hosts a permanent training field during the winter season, making this event even more special.

This spectacular event is a must for aviation enthusiasts and anyone looking to experience a unique and unforgettable show. The team, composed of young Italian pilots trained with great dedication by the Italian Air Force, continues to captivate audiences throughout Italy and worldwide.

2026 Program being updated

The event will start at 3:30 pm in front of the beach of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

On July 11, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM – or until the end of the trials – and on July 12, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM – or until the end of the event – in the sea area highlighted in the map in the post.

It is prohibited to:

• navigate, anchor, stop, or carry out any activities related to public use of the sea;
• swim or bathe;
• engage in diving activities using any technique;
• engage in any type of fishing;
• carry out any other underwater or surface activities.

We would like to remind everyone that the main point of reference for all security vehicles, the armed forces, the direction and the commander of the Frecce Tricolori will be located at the beach office number 11, located on Lungomare Trieste in Lignano Sabbiadoro.

For safety reasons and to ensure the correct execution of the activities, access to the sea water will be prohibited from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm on the entire coast of Sabbiadoro, precisely from the red lighthouse to roundabout 3 of the Villaggio Bella Italia. On the occasion of this important event, access to Lungomare Trieste will be limited, and only emergency vehicles, the police and law enforcement will have access.
